Today, 6F were graced with two special guests (Chris – a musician and songwriter and David – a historian) from LCC education services. Chris started the ball rolling playing a lovely melody to the children in the KS2 Hall, which was then followed by a few silly and fun warm up vocal games. The aim of the day was to inspire the children to write a verse for their own song linked to our school. By the end of the day, the children had indeed achieved that and sang the grouped verses together with Chris, who will now go away and record it professionally and send us through a recording – so watch this space. When released, we shall play it during a whole school assembly and put the song on our social media platforms…
