This Thursday saw 12 children from Year Six make the short trip to Pendle Vale, where they were put through their paces on the intimidating climbing wall.  After being taught the basic skills of traversing, they were then harnessed up and tasked with making the arduous climb up the wall in as short a time as possible.

The children involved showed great determination and courage when ascending the daunting wall – especially Grace, who scaled the most demanding route in less than thirty seconds!

In addition, our children were faultless in their behaviour and support of each other; this was noticed by the lead instructor, who made the generous offer to provide more frequent sessions for our school next year!  A big well done is in order – we are very proud to have such exemplary pupils at Park.
