Year 1’s DT project this half term was to create a free standing structure. We chose to design and make a model of a piece of playground equipment that could be used by all children at Park Primary School. After evaluating existing playground equipment on our yard, many children designed and made slides or swings. It was very tricky to join the materials together and to make sure our structure could stand up by itself!
