Year 1 and 2 take a trip to the ZOO! (virtually)

Today all the children in year 1 and 2 joined thousands of children across the country on a virtual trip to Chester Zoo! The children met Andean Bears, Short Clawed Otters, Brilliant Bugs and Sloths.

Many children got involved at home by designing online Zoos, painting animal prints and showing off their pets.

In year 2 alone we had a leopard gecko, a bearded dragon,  a snake that weighed 2kg, and a corn snake that was 5ft long! It was lovely to hear about how the children look after these at home!
