I joined Colne Park Primary School as the new Pastoral Manager in December 2023. I have many years experience of working in schools, both primary and high schools.
My experience is from EYFS up to year 11 and enjoy supporting children in school. I understand the daily struggles of parenting having 2 boys myself and empathise with the issues they can bring, but also value the positive experiences that my boys have brought me over the years. I have worked in Nurture units and also in The Therapy room at my previous high school along with my therapy dog Rosie. My most recent post was in a unit for Neurodiverse children and have experience of non verbal children and the strategies and aids that can be used. Some of you may recognise me as the previous Chair of Governors at Colne Park Primary school, a role I had to resign from once I secured this post, however I remain on the governing body.
