Today, on the last day of an exhausted but exciting Autumn term, the Year 3s have had an action packed and exciting day both in and out of class.

First, the Year 3s got to use the brand new Steven Burke Gymnasium for the first time this morning, so it was a great way to start the day with some fresh air and fun exercise to a bit of background Christmas music.

They then had a Christmas party in class, playing pass the parcel and other group games.  This was followed by the film, ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ based on the classic novel by Roald Dahl.  This was a perfect way to end the term as the children have been following the book as their class novel this half term.  They loved the book and equally loved the film – they enjoyed a few Christmas treats during the show too, like a true cinema experience!

Merry Christmas Year 3 from Mr Farry, Mr Swarbrick, Mrs Lucas, Mrs Scott and Mr Benson.  We hope you have a nice break and will see you in 2021!
