With Wimbledon starting in a few days’ time, Park produced a brilliant introduction to the event by doing some amazing tennis in school today!
Every class took part in the activities and there was some great talent on show, as well as tons of enthusiasm, effort and smiles. Even though each session was only 20 minutes, everyone enjoyed themselves and even made progress in their tennis, so well done everyone! The real Wimbledon starts on Monday on the BBC – I hope the professionals were watching the children today so that they can learn a thing or two!
Thank you to all of you who paid £1 to help the Playground Project and to Mrs Turner for providing the traditional Wimbledon strawberries. A special mention must go to the lovely children from the Apprentice Club for all their wonderful efforts throughout the day – it really wouldn’t have worked without them. Well done and thank you, girls!
