The Year 3s had a hectic morning completing a series of activities focusing on different key skills.
The children learned how to safely use a bow saw in pairs to cut medium sized old wood into suitable sizes for an outdoor open fire.
Another group roamed around the Forest School using crayons to print on hard surfaces in nature.
A third group were learning how to tie knots (using the Clove-hitch knot).
The final group got to spend their time navigating the Inflatable Obstacle Course coincidently on the Sports Field today for KS1.
All the children moved around for nearly two hours practising each skill. It was wonderful to see them having so much fun.
