After a strong campaign by the year 5/6 girls’ football team, the final round of fixtures took place at Fishermore last night. After convincing wins against St Pauls (4-0), Coates Lane (2-0) and a scrappy draw against Earby (1-1), it game down to the final game against Holy Saviours to decide who won the league. Unfortunately, after a tightly contested game, we came up just short, going down 1-0 to a very good side and deserved champions.

Well done girls. We will be back next year, even stronger!
