Today, the lucky Year 3s have spent the full day completing different art tasks linked to the Romans (our topic for this half term).  They have created their own life sized shields (to use and reenact a legion – still to do at the end of half term) and designed their own mosaics using repeated patterns inspired by from some Roman artifacts.

The children have had an amazing, fun day (with Mr Farry and Mr Swarbrick out of class on training) and are looking forward to their day on the field reenacting a battle between the Roman legions and the Celts.

Normal service shall resume tomorrow with English and Maths with their teachers, YEAH!
