Yesterday, after practising hard all week, 4B delivered their class assembly to their families and the children of Key Stage Two. The assembly gave an insight into the horrifying amount of plastic that gets dumped into the oceans – 8 million tons a year – and the effects it has on the Earth and its people. The assembly was a great success and we hope that, as a result of the performance, you will reduce the amount of plastic you use, reuse plastic you have to buy, and recycle what you can’t reuse.
I am very proud of all of the children for their hard work throughout the week and professionalism on the day – I think we have some future film stars among us! Thank you to all the parents and family members who came to watch – it was a fantastic turn out!
And remember, everyone: reduce, reuse, recycle!
