Every Wednesday, our year five and two children have been pairing up to read to each other at the end of the day. This has been very beneficial for both sets of children, as well as very enjoyable!
Zoey (Year Two) said, “It’s really nice to have the older children listening to me read and it’s making me a better reader!”
Hollie (Year Five) added, “It’s nice to listen to the younger ones, and help them to get better, because we know how important it is to be good at reading by the time you get to our age.”
