Today Year 4 had an important visitor to discuss our global theme of Power and Governance. Andrew Stephenson is our Member of Parliament who represents Pendle . Andrew told the children all about his job and how he helped the people of Pendle with different issues in the community . He said he loved his job and he had met Boris Johnson ( with crazy hair ) and the Queen. He also encouraged the girls to think about being members of Parliament as 70 % of the 650 members are male .
Hello, I’m Mrs Turner. I have been teaching at Park for over twenty eight years – I may have taught some of your parents! I have spent many years teaching in Key Stage 1 but more recently in Year 5 and 6, and now Year 3. I have 2 teenage boys so spend lots of time watching football and cricket. In between marking lots of books, I like to go to the gym.
