It was a tough night at the office for our girl’s netball team, taking on some top teams in the premier division of the competition. First up, the girls tasted defeat at the hands of a very skilful St Josephs side, who look nailed on to take the title this year, and then they went down in a narrow 3-2 defeat to St Michaels. The girls could have been forgiven for thinking it wasn’t going to be their night but then a lucky omen appeared on the sidelines…in the form of Mrs Byrom! From that point on, the girls rediscovered their free flowing style of play. First they pulled off a very good 2-1 victory over Blacko before running riot against Holy Saviours in the final game, winning 3-1 with Naomi helping herself to a hat trick. All in all, a very good night girls where you showed real fighting spirit, well done?
