This morning, 3S and 4T were treated to a cinema viewing at the Little Savoy Cinema in Colne. In fact, it’s merely a stone’s throw from our school, so the children dashed across after register and were sat poised, drinks and sweetie treats in hand, ready for the show (Peter Rabbit 2) at 9.30am. The reward is for getting the highest word count on Accelerated Reader across the Spring terms. Each class beat their respective year group class. It looks like they had an amazing time and what a lovely way to kick off Red Nose Day and let’s not forget Saint Patrick’s Day (I had to get that quote in!). Thank you to the staff that helped out with the event and well done for all that fantastic reading!
