Today, the children have had a fun filled day at Carsington Water. After learning about the water cycle, and measures we can take to reduce the amount of water we waste, they dabbled in a bit of bird watching- a favourite past time of Mr Strachan’s! After this, with most still aching from the near 10 mile hike the previous day, they took part in an orienteering challenge that was designed to take in the beautiful scenery Carsington has to offer. For those who still weren’t tired out, after hitting all sixteen checkpoints, there was the opportunity to let off some further steam in the gigantic play area.
