Year Five have had an action packed day exploring the Ingleborough countryside! After navigating the long hike up the hill to the cave entrance, they explored the cave network beneath and learnt lots of interesting facts. They then had a relaxing picnic by the river, before exploring the countryside further and then squeezing in a bit of time on the play area.
The children’s behaviour throughout was impeccable and it was lovely to have members of the public comment on how well behaved they were and what good manners they had. Well done Year Five! I’m sure you will sleep well tonight.
Mr J. Thompson
My name is Mr Thompson and I am the class teacher in year 5 as well as the PE subject leader. This is going to be my second year teaching at Park and it is one that I am really looking forward to. Away from the classroom, I enjoy socialising with friends, going to the gym and taking part in a variety of sports.
