We were delighted this morning to receive a donation of £30 from Colne Police for our Gardening Club, which is run by Mrs Brown and Miss Slater. Over the last few weeks, some of our children have been having fun planting seeds and watching them grow. We have a wide selection of vegetables growing in our planters. Our green fingered Mrs Brown could not wait to spend the money and headed straight to Salterforth Garden Centre. The generosity of our community continued and Mrs Brown was able to purchase a large bag of compost and apple tree for £30; due to a good discount!

The tree has now been planted in our garden and we look forward to seeing it grow and produce some delicious apples.

I have had the pleasure of working at Park since I graduated from Chester Teacher Training College. Both my children attended Park Primary and have become successful in their careers. I love my role as Deputy Head teacher and especially enjoy having the opportunity to work in all classes. I am very proud to work at Park Primary and always take an interest in the careers of past pupils. My hobbies are walking, spending time with my friends and family.
