Day 2, what a beautiful day we’ve all had. After a lovely sleep all the children and members of staff were eager to get going for the day.
After a hearty breakfast, we set off to the Eyam Centre. While we were there we learnt all about the plague and how it affected the citizens of Eyam. We learnt about what the doctors wore to help protect themselves and how the boundary stones were used by people in nearby villages to trade food with the people living in Eyam.
We then took full advantage of the warm midday sun and went on a delightful, gentle walk around part of Carsington Water.
