This afternoon, Classes 3F and 3S were treated to a mini volcanic eruption in class. The children have been learning all about volcanoes and earthquakes in their topic work ‘Rock and Roll’. Nawira, in 3F, was so enthusiastic about the topic that she decided to make her very own volcano at home using clay and other arts and craft products. She kindly brought it in to class for display and eventually allowed us to make the volcano come to life after learning all about them. Well done Nawira and thank you to Mr and Mrs Khan for encouraging such fabulous work at home, this has helped excite, engage and encourage our Year 3s to learn about the topic.
