This half term, the whole school are trying to improve their ball skills in their bi-weekly 15′ PE slots, in order to try to make Mr Burton’s life a little easier in their main PE lessons.
Mr Burton has asked that the teachers focus on fundamental skills such as: bouncing, rolling, throwing (underarm and overarm) and kicking. Mastering these skills will help boost children’s confidence, especially in PE lessons with Mr Burton, and allow them to move on to team games in lessons.
Last week, the focus was rolling; the children in 3F were keeping Mr Farry on his toes, chasing all the balls that rolled astray! : )
