This afternoon, a selection of our Year 6 children (boys and girls) went down to our sports field and played a much anticipated interschool friendly cricket match verses Barrowford Primary. This match has been in the calendar for a while now and it was great to see the children from both school mingling and completing with each other. Barrowford had the edge on the day with their superior and rapid bowling skills; they came out winners with a score of 151 to 121 runs.
Star players on the day for Par k were: Liam and Lexi. Well done to all involved and a BIG thank you to the Barrowford boys and their excellent and committed coach (a TA also) Alan.
We can’t wait for a rematch!!!
