Year 3 Visit The Lowry

On Thursday, the Year 3 children visited the Lowry in Manchester. They passed the day looking at the 'Quentin Blake and Me' exhibition, exploring and making notes and sketches. The children are reading texts in school with the Quentin illustrations like the Twits and others. They are also going to be producing some clay sculptures for their Art outcome using these illustrations as an inspiration. It really looks like the children had a fabulaous day out! And all linked to our curriculum too
