Winter Bloom Parade Preparations

Year 2 have had a lovely afternoon with Annette from Handmade Productions, making lanterns for the Colne Winter Bloom Parade. We can't wait to walk through Colne on Saturday 15th February to showcase our amazing creations.

The Winter Bloom Parade is a highlight of Colne's Winter Bloom Light Festival, set to return on February 15, 2025

This enchanting event transforms Colne Town Centre with an illuminated parade celebrating folklore, particularly the Pendle Witches story. The parade features large-scale lanterns, puppets, and musicians, creating a magical atmosphere

In addition to the parade, the festival includes light projections on the Pendle Hippodrome, art installations, and live entertainment. It's a free event, perfect for all ages, and a wonderful way to experience the community spirit and creativity of Colne.
