On Friday 6th October, a few brave volunteers from Year 6 decided to host a tutoring club for both Years 3 and 4. The tutor leads (Ebony, Katheryn) along with their team, discussed both English and Maths with the children from Years 3 and 4. The children brought along their books and edited and improved their work, the Year 6 children also explained any misconceptions or any particular problems 1 to 1 with each child. This will now be a weekly club on Fridays at lunchtime which gives the Year 6 children great early leadership skills and helps improved talking and listening skills for all year groups involved.
Well done Year Sixes, keep up the good work!
Mr Farry.
