In the Autumn term, eight pupils from Year 5 participated in a dodgeball event with a slight difference – they had to play in the dark! The pupils wore glow in the dark bibs and had to throw glow in the dark dodgeballs, with the aim of hitting players from the opposing school.
They played 5 games in total and really enjoyed playing in the dark and working together as a team. I wouldn’t be able to choose a ‘player of the day’ because the whole team played well and supported each other against some decisions that didn’t go their way, but they didn’t let this affect them and they continued to play to the best of their ability.
