Year 2 had a fantastic day yesterday for ‘Victorian Day’. We learned lots of new information and spent the day in the role of Victorian children and teachers! We enjoyed creating gruel-some children said it was delicious whereas others said it was disgusting. We used chalk to complete column addition in maths and for our handwriting in English. The children then chanted times tables and a poem. After lunch we then created peg dolls as well as joining in with games outdoors. A fun day was had by all, all staff want to thank parents for all of their support and effort with some amazing costumes being produced and worn.
