Wow! What an amazing experience the choir had on Friday night when they performed alongside famous artists. As the lights went down the whole arena was alight with tiny torches creating a fabulous setting. More than 8,000 children burst into songs from  the jazz musical ‘Five Guys Named Moe.’They sang show songs, ballads, rock songs, pop medleys and a well known South African song ‘Maliswe.’ Urban street dancers performed as well as  other dance groups. Several children said “This has been the best day of my life!”

The concert ended with everyone on their feet ,parents included ,singing ‘Ain’t No Mountain’, which was followed by rapturous applause. Thank you to the staff and parents for supporting us, but more importantly, the children for taking part. Looking forward already to Young Voices  2018!
