This morning, both the staff and the children have made an amazing effort, dressing up as characters from a book. The children were then quizzed on who their ‘Mystery Reader’ for the day might be. Between 11.05 and 11.30, a ‘Mystery Reader’ came into each class to read a book of their choice – the children were very excited about who it may be…
Also, during this morning’s assembly, the children were also treated to a short video showing all the ‘Get Caught Reading’ photos that were sent in over the last few weeks. The children loved seeing themselves and their peers in different readings poses in different environments.
Finally, a winner (from each class) was announced for the best dressed costume. It’s been a really fun day, well done to parents for helping in the efforts to send your children to school in such fabulous outfits…
