Today we came back after break time to find some enormous footprints, huge gold coins and a golden egg!
The children knew exactly who had been to visit… it was the giant of course! He had left the children a letter!
In the letter, the giant told us about how furious he was that Jack had climbed up the beanstalk and stole his most precious treasures from his castle. He explained how his singing harp was his very best friend.
We then discussed our new global theme of Social Justice and Equity and decided whether Jack’s actions were fair or unfair. The children had great fun and wondered whether they would see the giant stomping around Park Primary.
