Before Easter, Class 5F (with a little help from some of Mr Thompson’s pupils) practised and completed their class assembly on Victorians.  The children helped create a life size ‘tardis’ to use for effect during the assembly as well as bringing in their own antique costumes.  We had characters such as:  Charles Dickens, Florence Nightingale, Dr Who and Queen Victoria.  After an informative performance, the children then sang a Victorian themed song with some very creative and entertaining movements.  All the hard work in class paid off and I’m sure the audience – both parents and children – were thoroughly entertained.  Thank you 5F for your hardwork and also to the parents who supported the assembly on the day.
