Today the children got on with a mixture of subjects ranging from fractions, column addition to doing some homophone work in spellings. In the afternoon we had a go at doing some programming by creating our own routes and telling our partners how to safely pass along the route.
Mrs Greenwood felt extremely proud today as the children in school joined in the minute’s silence, standing on our world map, to commemorate the key workers who have died with coronavirus. This was such a poignant moment and gave us all time for reflection.
Since I graduated from university in 2012 I have worked in several schools and year groups including Park Primary’s Year 6, where I aided them with the lead up to their SATs. In September 2015, I began teaching in Year 2 and am now a teacher in Year 3. Within the curriculum, I have a personal passion for Maths, History and Art. Outside of school, my main passion is cricket where I’m the captain of the 2nd XI.
