This week Year 4 and 5 had a visit from Ella at Stepping Stones . Ella talked to the children about how they supported vulnerable people , especially refugees. The children learned that there is currently 260,000 refugees in the North West area . Year 4 have been trying to help by collecting things that refugee children might need to take to school , such as pencil cases, felt pens and warm gloves . Year 5 wrote letters to the children to tell them what it is like to live in our town . Ella was very impressed with the questions that the children asked .
