Children in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 enjoyed their Sports Day on Thursday. The children competed in lots of different events: running races, a blindfolded obstacle race, egg and spoon race, bouncy hoppers, three-legged race, hurdles, rolling a tyre and more! Thank you to the Park High sports volunteers for helping the day run smoothly and helping the children at each of the stations. Thank you as well to all the parents that took part in the races at the end- the dinosaur in the key stage 1 race brought many smiles to the children’s faces.
We have taken part in 64 sporting events this year- more than any other school in Pendle! It is fantastic to see how engaged our children are in sports at Park.
