Yesterday, our Year 6 children were given the opportunity to visit Burnley College for the second time in a week, having visited the launch of the Science Festival last Friday.

This time, the children explored the science of robotics and programming in greater detail; they had the chance to control powerful robotic arms and drive smaller, wheeled robots through an obstacle course to score a goal (giving a certain Mr Kane a run for his money!).  As well as this, both Year 6 classes experienced some advanced, high school-level science lessons, constructing their own electrical circuits and learning all about the process of 3D printing.

Overall, the children thoroughly enjoyed the activities at Burnley College and displayed exemplary behaviour throughout. Well done Year 6!
