Yesterday afternoon, a group of Year 3 children enjoyed an afternoon of Tri-Golf competing against 3 other local schools. Points were up for grabs in Bullseye, Dominoes, Drive for Show, Finders Keepers, Tunnel Ball and others.
‘Putting’ and ‘Chipping’ skills were put to the test against the wind and the glare of the sun but our fantastic golfers scored an amazing 64!
Well done boys and girls, we are proud of the way you work together as a team, persevered when it was a bit tricky and tried your very best with your new skills which is all we can ask. A special mention to Mrs Lucas, who had a splendid afternoon with the youngsters, topping up her tan and I believe having a bit of an adventure on the journey back to school : )
