Today, we had a special visitor in class (Ross) who spoke to the children about mental health. He emphasised the importance of positivity, friendships, family and communicating with each other.
The children even tried a technique to help them feel relaxed or to help them calm down: calm palms, box breathing strategies.
They also discussed different ways to help them feel positive: walk the dog, talk to the cat, talk to friends, talk to someone you trust and feel comfortable around.
