This week the ‘Mathsamind’ competition was introduced.  Children in Key Stage 2 worked hard on learning their times tables.  All children competed in class against each other and a winner from each class competed in the semi-finals against their co-class.
Only four winners from each year group were selected for the finals.  This week, the finalists battled against each other to win the ‘Mathsamind’ challenge in assembly.

The challenge required: times tables knowledge; quick thinking and speed; and keeping calm under pressure.
Congratulations to the finalists:

  • Lochlan
  • Shayne
  • Isobel
  • Alton

The competition will take place again at the end of each term, so it’s time for you all to practise your times tables and get involved. Good Luck!

The winner was Shayne
