Some of Park’s top mathematicians took part in the Primary Maths Challenge at West Craven today. The team of four was up against stiff opposition as twelve primary schools fought it out to become local champions. After a closely fought contest, Park eventually finished in 5th place after losing out in the final “relay” event. Well done to all the children who took part and represented our school with pride. A special thank you to Mrs Mitchell for working with the group and accompanying them on the day.

I have taught at Park for the last fourteen years. Originally from the north-east, I graduated from the University of Hull and then worked in the insurance industry for several years. Having raised my family, I decided to follow my dream and completed my PGCE at Hope University in Liverpool.
