Class 6T have been rustling up some treats this morning, inspired by the ‘Lean in 15’ recipes of Joe Wicks.
After learning all about the circulatory system, and the importance of leading a healthy and active lifestyle in previous lessons, the children moved on to creating their very own healthy three course meal.
After looking at where the foods we would be using were imported from, and discussing globalisation, we split into groups. Some made the starter (vegetable soup), with some making the main (lasagne) and some completing the meal with our healthy dessert choice (fruit salad).
All the children had a great time…especially during the tasting!
