We welcomed back the children of Key Workers with a ‘Mindful Monday’. The children started their day off with a calm yoga session and followed this by writing about a ‘calm/happy’ place. We then had a game of ‘Bingo’ and looked at 3D shapes creating lots of models (junk modelling) from recycled materials. We finished our day by decorating some lovely salt dough keepsakes. We have incorporated activities that can also be completed at home if parents/carers and children would like to do so.  Karis explained that she wanted to pass the message on to others both at school and at home “There is always hope”.

We understand as a School how important our health is both physically and mentally and want children, staff, parents/carers (both at home and at School) to feel as calm and as safe as they can in such a strange time in our lives.
