Inter School Athletics

On Monday night, twelve of our children represented the school in the Pendle Inter School Athletics competition at Park High. They were a credit to the school, with many of the organisers commenting on their sportsmanship and positive attitude. We had many standout performers. Shelley Cross leapt to victory in the triple jump, Cadie Baines and Lochlan Cairney were runner up in two events and the boys were victorious in the final event of the evening, the 4×1 lap relay. This pushed us up to 3rd school overall, just missing out at representing Pendle at the Lancashire Schools competition! Well done to all the children who took part.
