Today, some Year 5 children (from 5T & 5F) spent the afternoon at Pendle Vale College topping up their climbing skills after the Robinwood activities last week.  They started low, climbing laterally across the wall through various obstacles.  Then, when feeling more confident, they went vertical.

Some versatile children made it all the way to the top and back down again in one piece!  A scary business for those not too fond of heights.  There were lots of smiles and energy shown from our children, who, as the photos suggest, had a fabulous time!

Hi, my name is Mr Farry and I’m a Year 5 teacher. After spending a few years at Park, I consider myself very much part of a great team in a great school.I am now the P.E coordinator, which is great as I am a very active person and love sport. This is reflected in my class, whereby I ensure the children receive lots of physical activity in a week.
