Year 2 had a fantastic day out on Tuesday for their end of year trip to Blackpool Zoo! As we set off on the coach, the rain poured, which panicked us all and thought that we were in for an extremely wet day. However, once we arrived the skies cleared and we were treated to blue skies and sun all day. We saw lots of various animals on our trip and were particularly excited to see the beautiful baby orangutan that had been born. We discovered that this was the first baby orangutan born in twenty years!
Our dinner included a great sealion show, where the children saw the sealions do many tricks. However, we did not like the seagulls! All of the children had fantastic behaviour and were true Park Children on the whole of the visit. We definitely had lots of tired children on our return to school.
