Since October pupils from Years 5 & 6 all over Lancashire have been reading 6 books throughout the Autumn and Spring terms. The books are read at home and at school, they are discussed and opinions are shared in a relaxed setting.
The six books are:

On Tuesday 21st March our ten Year 5 enthusiastic readers had to cast their vote for their favourite book. Mrs Greenwood said “It has been a real pleasure running the FBA Club, the children have been engaged and we have had some great discussions.”
Parks favourite book was ‘Jack Dash and the Magic Feather.’
The children want to carry on with the lunchtime reading club so we will choose more novels and keep reading!!
I have had the pleasure of working at Park since I graduated from Chester Teacher Training College. Both my children attended Park Primary and have become successful in their careers. I love my role as Deputy Head teacher and especially enjoy having the opportunity to work in all classes. I am very proud to work at Park Primary and always take an interest in the careers of past pupils. My hobbies are walking, spending time with my friends and family.
