Parents were invited into Reception today to observe their child in a Phonics session.  Children enjoyed explaining what a phoneme was and showed their parents how to make the ‘pure’ sound. We then worked on oral blending and segmenting, as well as learning how to form lower case and upper case letters correctly. Parents then had the opportunity to work on Phonics activities in the hall after the session.

“This morning was lovely! Thank you so much. George loved us being there, we are so proud of him.  We do hope there are more sessions to come.”  George-John Kelly-Heaton’s parents.
