Explorers at Colne Library

Kindly, Colne Library invited years 2,3 and 4 to visit the library this week to  learn all about The Lancashire Reading Trail. The library have set a challenge to read a total of 50 books! These can be large novels, non fiction books and also smaller books too. After 10 books you will receive a bronze certificate of achievement, after reading 30 books you will receive a silver certificate of achievement, then a prestigious gold certificate when you have read all 50 books. The librarians also spoke to us about all the different books we can find the library, and how to find them. Lauren and Paul, the librarians at Colne Library, read a story to us and together we wrote a short book review. You can borrow up to 20 items at a time, and keep for 3 weeks. To join the library and sign up, just pop in to the library to collect your reading trail and stickers, you will also collect character cards along the way!
