Adam’s Story
On 5th July 2009 our son, Adam Rogers, was killed in Blackburn town centre and our lives changed forever.
What was it all about? The night Adam was killed he was trying to act as a peacemaker. His only mistake was trying to keep a young man away from the area where his friend was being attacked. http://www.eahconsequences.com/adams-story/
Last week we had an assembly with Tim Rogers, who is the brother of Adam Rogers. He was very interesting and we learnt why people should keep their hands to themselves and all about personal responsibility. He told us that every action has a consequence and that we should resolve issues using words and not fists. In Year 6 we have completed activities about keeping calm, dealing with emotions and personal responsibility.
