Yesterday fifteen members of our school choir sang at The Peter Birtwistle Trust for the Community Centre Christmas party. The children were a credit to the school and Mrs Greenwood and Mrs Midgley were so proud of the way the children engaged with the local community.

Mrs Alison Evans, the manager of the trust, was delighted with the children and the questions they asked the ladies and gentlemen. The children were excited and felt that they had learnt a lot about our local community. They spent time talking to one lady who was 101 and another who had worked at Park Primary School.

We look forward to singing at The Peter Birtwistle Trust again and would like to thank them for the kind gifts they gave to our children.

Mrs S. Midgley

I am very proud to be the Head teacher of Park Primary School. I have worked in a wide range of schools across the UK as my husband was in the army, we have now settled in the local area and are very happy here. Seeing the children learn new skills and over come challenges is the most rewarding part of my job.
