Building Bridges

This morning, the Year 3s visited Primet Academy as part of their Building Bridge’s experience.  The children joined forces with Year 3 children from Lomeshaye Primary in an action packed morning for of physical activities.
The activities included: football, basketball, team races and problem solving.  Our children mixed and integrated with the Lomeshaye children from the outset having a brief conversation with at least one person telling them a bit about themselves.
They then split up into mixed groups to complete the activities.
Sophie from 3F said, “I was excited to meet other children from other schools!”
Mya from 3S says, “It was really fun!”
Thank you to the Primet staff, Lomeshaye staff and our own staff and parent helpers for assisting for the morning.  We look forward to travelling to Lomeshaye and welcoming them to Park in the near future!

Mr D. Farry

Hi, my name is Mr Farry and I’m a Year 5 teacher. After spending a few years at Park, I consider myself very much part of a great team in a great school.I am now the P.E coordinator, which is great as I am a very active person and love sport. This is reflected in my class, whereby I ensure the children receive lots of physical activity in a week.
